Spotlight: It’s a long way from busking to Oscars, Emmys and Tonys; Jeremy Irons can vouch for that. He has come from singing for change on Bristol’s streets to being one of the industry’s most decorated actors. Today is Irons’ 60th birthday and he celebrates it with the release of his newest movie, Appaloosa. Directed by Ed Harris, the Western features Irons as a merciless rancher who threatens a New Mexico town in the 1880s. Harris, Viggo Mortenson, Timothy Spall and Renee Zellweger also star in the film.
